WHAT IS IT?
A luxurious cleansing oil for very clean, nourished, supple, and super soft skin.
Fancy Face effortlessly melts away (even long-wear or waterproof) makeup, sunscreen (even zinc!), and excess sebum and dirt, to leave the skin lovely and clean. Featuring five botanical plant oils (camellia, sunflower, sweet almond, argan, passionfruit seed oil), antioxidants (vitamin e), and essential fatty acids, Fancy Face replenishes as it removes.
This nourishing oil cleanser is as much a must-have for mature or dry skin, as it is for young, oily, and heavily made-up. There’s no dryness, tightness, and absolutely no messing around with your skin’s barrier. Just an astonishing cleanser, and the healthy, soft skin to prove it.
An oil? To clean?
Yes! Really! Oil cleansers attract oil, and in doing so, dissolve all your makeup, SPF, dirt and excess sebum, leaving you with clean, soft skin, minus the over drying and tightness. Oil cleansers do not make your skin oily, nor do they clog pores. They replenish the skin with vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids, balance oil levels, and hydrate the skin.
So, in short, you get a cleanser and makeup remover, but you also get skin care benefits. Fancy!
HOW TO USE:
Apply 3 pumps of oil into your dry hands, and massage into your dry face in circular motions. Enjoy this bit. It’s nice. Hold your face cloth or muslin under the hot tap and get it nice and warm, then wipe the face completely clean. For bonus points, cover your face in the cloth and compress it on for 10 seconds first.
HOW DOES IT FIT INTO MY ROUTINE?:
AT NIGHT
Use Fancy Face as the first step in your night time routine to dissolve all your makeup, SPF, dirt, and excess oil. Follow on with Properly Clean for a double cleanse. Or, just move on to your skin care (treatment products, serum/face oil, and night cream) if your skin feels clean and soft enough. It’s your skin, your call. (FYI: Half the office follow on with Properly Clean, half don’t.)
But also: Starting the day with an oil cleanse is a nice way to balance the skin’s oil. And of course, if you are removing your day makeup before reapplying makeup for an evening event, Fancy Face is 100% your guy.
INGREDIENTS:
Sunflower oil
A light oil with high levels of vitamins A, D and E as well as essential fatty acids helping to soothe and replenish dry skin. Hopeless on a flower crown.
Sweet almond oil
A gentle, nourishing oil suitable for all skin types (especially dry and sensitive ones). Rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and amino acids, it helps to soften and nourish the skin.
Caprylic/Capric triglyceride
Fatty acids derived from coconut; this oil is non-greasy, light weight with excellent moisturising properties leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth.
Camellia oil
A natural antioxidant obtained from the seeds of the camellia plant; camellia oil is rich in fatty and essential fatty acids that deeply nourish and rejuvenate the skin. Nice.
Vitamin e
A powerful antioxidant that preserves the product and can prevent free radical damage on the skin.
Natural fragrance
Derived from natural plant extracts. Smells fancy.
Rosemary leaf extract
An antioxidant that helps protect against free radical damage and the effects of environmental stresses on the skin.
Passionfruit seed oil
Rich in unsaturated fatty acids ("major nutritional and moisturising properties") to help keep skin healthy and soft. Inspired a Drake song.
Polyglyceryl-2 sesquioleate
A renewable plant-sourced emulsifier that helps combine the water and oil during the cleansing process. Leaves skin super soft.
Argan oil
A plant-based oil loaded with unsaturated fatty acids, natural tocopherol, and phenols to keep skin soft and bouncy. It soothes and protects the skin, fights oxidation of skin cells, and reduces blemishes.
Isoamyl laurate
A unique oil originating from plants. Used to make skin feel sssssilky smooth.
Polyglyceryl-2 caprate
A 100% plant-derived emulsifier used to help combine the water and oil during the cleansing process. It also helps remove oils from the skinand fight blemishes. It’s unique structure helps it bind water into the skin, and also retain and deliver essential fats and oils into the upper skin layer.
